TERMS & CONDITIONS
The following terms and conditions refer to any orders placed through our website www.brownricestudio.com. By placing an order for the desired items via the contact form of this website, E-Mail or in our linked online shop, the customer submits a binding offer to conclude a sales contract. BROWN RICE STUDIO is entitled to accept this offer within 1 business days by sending an order confirmation to the customer. Orders will be confirmed via E-Mail. If no order confirmation has been sent after the 1 days period has expired, the offer can be regarded as rejected. Please be aware that these general terms and conditions may change at any time. If you disagree with any of the conditions, do not place an order. If you have any questions feel free to E-Mail us before placing the order.
All prices of the items stated on the website are in Euro and include legal VAT, postage and packaging costs. All current offers determine the prices. Although we take great care in checking the content before shipping, we can not be held liable for any damage caused by a third party. Therefore, refunds are not accept, except if the buyer contacts the company personally (via E-Mail, Phone) and a mutual agreement, in special cases, is being made.
For all deliveries of BROWN RICE STUDIO to the consumer the following general terms and conditions (GTC) apply. Deviating and / or other agreements require our written confirmation.
The purchase contract is concluded between the seller BROWN RICE STUDIO [owner: Miriam Strehlau] and the buyer.
3. Offer and conclusion of the contract
The presentation of products on our website or in our online shop may not be understood as a legally binding offer but an invitation to place an order. Due to different monitor settings, deviations in color may occur. Since all of our products are handmade, small fluctuations and variations in appearance may occur in rare cases. By clicking on the order button, the customer submits a binding order for all goods listed on the order page. The purchase contract is concluded when we accept your order by sending you a confirmation E-Mail.
4. Reservation of ownership
The delivered goods remain property of the supplier until full payment is made.
Payment of the purchased item is due immediately when the purchase is made.
1) Claims for damages by the customer will not be accepted unless they are subsequently agreed upon. The above disclaimer applies to all legal representatives of the provider.
2) Fundamental contractual obligations are those whose performance is necessary to achieve the fulfillment of the contract, e.g. the provider has to give the customer the purchased good free of material and legal defects. The disclaimer excludes liability for damages based on an intentional or negligent breach of duty of the provider or his legal representatives.
7. Shipment & Shipment Charges
Shipment is available worldwide. All items, if in stock, will be shipped within 1-3 business days after receipt of the payment. In case of shipment delays, the customer will be informed by E-Mail. Foreign deliveries may extend 3-5 business days.
Free shipping within India. For shipping costs to Europe or the US please contact us via E-Mail.
MAINTENANCE OF THE ACQUIRED PRODUCTS:
Please note the washing instructions, which can be found in the packaging by time of delivery.
We cannot be held liable for any damages due to improper cleaning. Note: Never use product softeners for our products.
8. Cancellation and return policy
All of our products are carefully selected, checked and packaged with love. Due to the quality of the material and the fact that many of our products are limited edition only, we cannot accept late cancellations or returns. Of course, we understand that interests and moods may change, so we are happy to exchange products as long as they are still originally packaged and without any damages. All payment transfers may be done via PayPal or bank transfer.
Bank transfer: The customer is obliged to transfer the order amount to our bank account immediately after the order has been submitted to us. If you choose payment through bank transfer, we will send you an E-Mail with your personal invoice number. Please state your invoice no. and your full name with your transfer to us, so that we can process your order faster. Please note that depending on the day and speed of each transaction, a receipt of payment may last between 1-5 days.
PayPal: If the customer choses to pay for the item via PayPal, payment will be done by PayPal transfer. During the checkout, the customer will be redirected to PayPal to complete the payment. Once we have received your payment, the customer will get a confirmation and the order will be processed. In the rare case of deviations of the delivery time, the customer will be informed by us by E-Mail.
All image rights, copyrights and other intellectual property rights in the contents of our website www.brownricestudio.com lie with BROWN RICE STUDIO. All displayed pictures, logos, graphics, texts, reports, scripts and program routines which are our property may not be copied or used without our approval. All rights reserved.

12. Final Provisions
These terms and conditions and all contracts entered between the customer and BROWN RICE STUDIO, in particular purchase contracts, and any related potential ancillary business, is governed exclusively by the laws of India.
In case of invalidity of one or more provisions of these terms and conditions, the validity of the general terms and conditions shall not be affected.
